Annie Sue (Henry) Rowe, age 84 of Auburn, GA, passed away on July 21, 2025 surrounded by her family.  Annie Sue, known to everyone as Nanny, was born on June 6, 1941 to the late Charles Henry and the late Margie (Canup) Henry.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton “Doc” Rowe; granddaughter, Kimberly Trubey; ten brothers and sisters. 

Surviving members of her family are daughters and sons-in-law, Marsha and David Trubey, Cathy and Mike Farmer; son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Melissa Rowe; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Ralph Romans; grandchildren, Josh Trubey (Tiffany), Christin Trubey, Chad Cowher (Jessica), Kinsley Johnson (Brandon), Tiffany Arrant (Stewart), Bradley Farmer (Karissa), Shane Clay (Sarah); twelve great grandchildren.

"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies."

Annie Sue was a true saint of God.  Some have called her an angel, but she was known to all as "Nanny".

Her greatest joy was serving the Lord. She loved her family unconditionally.  Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her heart.

Her children were her life.  She will be forevermore missed and loved.  This is not goodbye; this is see you soon!

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Ponder and the Rev. Frankie Green officiating. Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Farmer giving the committal address.
