It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathy Pittman, who, surrounded by her loved ones, went home to be with the Lord on August 6, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer.

Kathy was born on March 23, 1962, in Decatur, Georgia, to the late Samuel and Eloise Henderson. She was raised in Monroe Georgia where she spent the majority of her life. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Christopher Pittman; late son, Kevin Pittman; late brother, Mark Henderson; late sister, Sheila Rodriguez. 

She is survived by her son, Christopher Leon Pittman; her cherished grandchildren, Hayley Pittman, Hannah Pittman, and Hudson Pittman; her daughter-in-law, Melissa "Missie" Pittman; brother Grady William Henderson; loving sister, Sheena Henderson; brother-in-law, Wayne Lange; her sister, Nancy Parr; brother-in-law ,Eugene Rodriguez and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. 

She was especially remembered by her niece, Kaylyn Gravette, who was also her caretaker and held a special place in her heart.

Kathy was loved by many and will be missed. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Meadows Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Hill Haven on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 11:00 am.
