OBITUARY

Joyce Bray Jordan, age 95 of Monroe, passed away on October 4, 2025.  She was born in Walton County, GA on April 6, 1930 to the late Hopie Walton Bray and the late Nettie Sue Bowden Bray.  She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Emory Claud Jordan; her son, the late Harold Johnson; her sister, the late Virginia Blasingame; and her brother, the late Jack Bray.

Surviving are sons, Joel Johnson, Tyron Johnson, and Mark Johnson; daughter, Wendy Higginbotham; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday October 8th at 3:00 PM at Hill Haven Memory Gardens with the Rev. Chris Conner officiating.  Visitation will be on Wednesday October 8th at Meadows Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM.  Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
