OBITUARY

Wendy Michele Cooper, age 55, of Monroe passed away on October 10, 2025. She was born on September 15, 1970 in LaGrange, Georgia to the late Clark Stell Burgess and the late Mary Ann Jenkins Burgess. She was preceded in death by her brother: the late Mark Burgess. 

Surviving are husband: Chris Cooper; daughter: Ann Marie Cooper; brother: Melvin Burgess (Robin). 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at New Testament Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow immediately at 2:00 pm at the church with Reverend Ben Tanner and Reverend Mickey Oliver officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Haven Memory Gardens. 

We would like everyone attending to wear purple in honor of Wendy.
