OBITUARY

Ronald Avery Harris, age 87, of Monroe passed away on October 19, 2025. Mr. Harris was born on March 31, 1938 in Atlanta, Georgia the late Clarence Sport Harris and the late Myra Bell. Ronny was raised at a young age by his grandparents, the William Jasper Bell and the Selita Bell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Jane Harris; brother, Butch Langston; sister, Clare Hindman.

Mr. Harris’ surviving family members are, sons, Wade Harris (Dede), Clay Harris (Cindy); sisters, Debbie McCain (David Toler); sister-in-law, Barbara Langston; brother, James Langston (Gail), Johnny Harris; brother-in-law, Earl Hindman; grandchildren, Ron Harris (Madison), Rylee Woods (Davis), Trevor Harris, and Sable Harris.

Avisitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Meadows Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow immediately at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Monroe, Georgia.
