OBITUARY

Martha Mae McDougal, age 88 of Social Circle, passed away on October 19, 2025.  She was born in Walton County on November 7, 1936 to the late Lunnie Durden and the late Clara Kilgore Durden.  She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Aubrey Brannon McDougal, her grandson, the late Brandon Lowry and her great grandson, the late Blake Graves. 

Surviving are daughters and sons in law, Cheryl Duncan, Renee and Keith Shirley, Kimberly and Michael Anderson; son and daughter in law, Steven and Christine McDougal; brother, Marcus Lynn Durden; 15 grandchildren, and numerous great and great great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday October 23rd from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Meadows Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 23rd at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Conner officiating.  Interment will follow at Social Circle City Cemetery.  Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
