Carol Pritchett Prescott, 82, of Monroe, Georgia passed away quietly at her home on Dec. 14, 2025.  She was born in Western Pennsylvania, June 13, 1943, but at an early age her family moved to Barnesville, Georgia, which she always considered home. It was here she met and married her husband of 66 years, Perry Prescott.

They later settled in Tucker, Georgia, where they raised two sons Jeff and Mark. Carol was always busy in support of her family and helping in church, school, scouts, little league programs or wherever needed. After moving to Cleveland, Georgia, in 1985, she continued to volunteer with church and community, while assisting Perry in his work across the Southeastern US. When Perry and Carol later moved to Monroe, Georgia, they became members of Monroe First United Methodist Church.

 Preceding her in death were her son, Mark Prescott, parents, Mary & Harris Pritchett, and brothers, William and Harris Pritchett.

She is survived by her loving husband, Perry; son, Jeff (Laura); grandson, Brian (Jennifer); grandson, Kevin (Lori); 6 great grandchildren, all of Monroe, Georgia; Sister, Henrietta (Clyde) Kirkpatrick and family, all of Midland, Pennsylvania.; Sister-in-law, Betty Jo Parsons and family of Barnesville, Georgia; many extended family and friends who she truly loved.

Due to age, health, mobility, and distance required for friends and family to travel, there will be no service at this time. A graveside service will be held at a later time, in Wrightsville, Georgia, where she and Perry will be laid to rest together.
