OBITUARY

Oscar Leroy Jones, 78 years of age, of Monroe, Georgia, passed away on December 18, 2025.  Mr. Jones was born on January 10, 1947 in his hometown of Monroe to the late Grady Leroy Jones and the late Missouri Lee (Mooney) Jones.  Leroy was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe King and Sammy Jones; sister, Barbara Phillips.  

Mr. Jones’ surviving family are, his son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Celina Jones; grandchild, Balin Jones (Hannah); sister, Brenda Berganske; brother, Billy Jones; many nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Meadows Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow on the same day at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
