OBITUARY
William Lee Day, lovingly known as Bill and affectionately called Pawpaw by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, passed away peacefully at the age of 91.
Bill lived a life rooted in faith, service, and family. He was deeply involved in his church and community and was known for his steady presence, kind heart, and quiet strength. Throughout his life, Bill served in the National Guard and built a respected career in banking and insurance, earning the trust and admiration of those who knew and worked with him. A lifelong Alabama fan, he took great pride in tradition, loyalty, and the values he lived by.
Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife Louise, his former wife Betty, and their son Jim. He now rests in eternal peace reunited with those he loved dearly.
He is survived by his daughter Brenda, along with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom knew him simply and lovingly as Pawpaw, a role he cherished deeply.
