OBITUARY

Bruce Colin Rowan, 73 years of age, of Loganville, passed away on January 7, 2026.  Mr. Rowan was born in Virginia on December 11, 1952 to the late Katherine Callaway Rowan and the late Robert Rowan.  Bruce was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Burke; brother, Duncan Rowan.

Surviving members of the family are his wife, Elvia Rowan; sons, Fernando Montano (Eneyda), David Rowan (Sarah), Vern Montano (Paige), Stephen Rowan; grandchildren, Jordan Montano, Cristian Montano, Allison Rowan, Ariel Rowan, Chelsie and Dustin Williams, Caitlin Yarborough, Trey Montano, Charlie Montano, Eve Rowan, Reed Rowan; great grandchildren, Liam and Lyla Williams; sisters, Lucy Adams, Carolyn Miller (Jim).

Ever selfless, he could not possibly give all his time to each of us, yet he lovingly gave all his time to all of us.  Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, friend, neighbor, and samaritan, your legacy of love, giving, and family lives forever.

“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.  Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.” (John 14:27)

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home.  A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm also at Meadows Funeral Home.
