I am so sorry to hear that “Miss Jean” has passed away but rejoice knowing she’s in Heaven with Jesus and my mama, Faye Raiford. They’re probably sitting on a bench, out of the way, talking and giggling as they watch all the others come through the gate! I’m so thankful for the joy and laughter “Miss” Jean gave mama! I’m also glad that she relented, finally, and allowed me to call her “Miss Jean” since I refused to call her Jean! Loved her and praying for all her friends and family! 💜

Lucky enough to have lived by Beth and Steve when we came to Monroe. She was always in and out and watching over us all, especially Jacob and Jake Carlan. She is treasured as one of the best women we were lucky enough to know, enjoy and love. Us Carlan’s counted her as family, as we do all y’all. We send our love to you, our extended family.

I will miss her so much. I miss hearing I say little bit or bit I love her so much I know she is watching over me now I'm glad I got to watch over her and take care her at Great oaks. She always told everyone that she was my grandma and I believed later on down the road she was a big part of my life I'm glad she got to see her little bit get married. She is forever missed and loved deeply.
