It was indeed a pleasure to work with Donna on the board for many years. She was firm on honoring the memory of her husband while conducting business for the board and continued being actively involved until her Savior decided he had her place ready. Donna and I met at weight watchers about 22years ago we became friends right then we would get together every month go eat she came to my house and bought all my granddaughter clothes for her great granddaughter aubri she was a wonderful friend loved her so sorry about her passing she loved her family that's mostly what we talked about.

I worked with Donna on the federal observer election monitoring program. She started in 1968, led the program for many years, and than was still in the field when I started in 2002. She was a great leader and a kind person. She would bring me M&Ms during long days working in Mississippi, Alabama, and elsewhere. We asked her to speak at a work retreat in 2017. She will be missed.

I had the honor to be mentored by Ms Donna as I began my career with OPM and the Voting Right Program and she was a remarkable lady.
