Obituary

Clara Dean Bankston, 67 years of age, of Conyers, GA passed away on December 3, 2022. Clara was born on June 5, 1955 to the late Coralee Bridges Hunter and the late Jesse Hunter. Ms. Bankston was preceded in death by her life long companion, Johnny Malcom; son, Thomas Bankston; sisters, Frances Bridges, Linda Herring, and Cynthia Bridges; her brother, Frankie Bridges. Surviving members of the family are, daughter, Penny Norman; son and daughter-in-law, William and Dawn Bankston; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Earl Lashley; brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Marie Bridges; grandchildren, Ciara, Jessica, Dakota Lee, Josh, Neaveh; great-granddaughter, Abigail. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 2:30 pm at Hill Haven Memory Gardens with Rev. Dana Labit officiating. Meadows Funeral Home was in charge of making the arrangements.
