OBITUARY

Levon W. Redding, age 83, of Monroe passed away on August 22, 2024. She was born on March 1, 1941 to the late Pearce Sheffield Wilkerson and the late George William Wilkerson. She was preceded in death by her brother: the late Larry Wilkerson.

Levon dedicated over five decades of her life to serving the community through her work at Walton County Farm Bureau, leaving a lasting impact on all those she encountered.

Surviving are husband: John Redding; daughters: Cynthia Redding Walker (Tom), Carly Redding; sister: Judy Herrington; brothers: Jim Wilkerson, Juke Wilkerson; granddaughter: Lucy Walker.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Meadows Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Reverend Ben Wills and Reverend Gary Greenwall officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Methodist Church Cemetery.
