OBITUARY

Millard Edgar (Snooky) Wright, Jr., age 80 of Monroe, passed away on July 27, 2025.  He was born on August 12, 1944 to the late Millard Edgar (Did) Wright, Sr. and the late Helen Hester Wright.  He was preceded in death by his son, the late Kelly Scott Wright; and grandson, the late Kerry A. (KJ) Wright, Jr.

Surviving are wife, Rebecca (Becky) Long Wright; daughters and sons in law, Penni and Lyle Van de Mark, Paige and Shane Nifong; sons and daughters-in-law, Kerry Wright and Nicole Watson, Kevin and Rochelle Wright; sisters, Diane Berland and Kathy Leasure; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on July 30th at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Benjamin Allgood and the Rev. Lee Peters officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at New Hope Church Cemetery in Between.  Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
