OBITUARY

Kevin David Mercier, aged 59, of Monroe, Georgia, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025. He was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, on June 30, 1966, to the late Patty Sue Jameson and the late Ambrose Pierce Mercier. 

Preceding Kevin in death are his parents; brother, Keith Mercier; son, Phillip Ambrose Mercier. 

Kevin leaves behind his loving wife Becky Wright Mercier; daughter, Mackenzie Castro (Frankie Castro-Andino); brother, Ken Mercier (Jeannie) (child Jeremiah (Lydia)); grandchildren, Catalina Castro, Ishayel Bernier; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Phillip and Kristi Wright (children: Addison and Colton); sister-in-law, Deb Mercier (children: Bryan (Kimberly), Pierce and Alise); Aunt: Linda Sheriff; Uncle: James Maxwell; Aunt and Uncle: Carl Lee and Patricia Mercier; great nephews: Noah Mercier, Alex Mercier, Lucas Mercier, Slade Dishman; great niece: Harper Mercier; a host of other beloved extended family members. 

Kevin was a pillar of his community, serving as a Deacon at Faith Baptist in Monroe. He had a long-standing career as a route supervisor with Bluebell Creameries. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed. 

A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Faith Baptist Church in Monroe, Georgia. Guests will be invited to stay after the service for fellowship and food with the family.
