Helen Jones Butler, aged 96, of Monroe, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. She was born in Monroe, Georgia, on August 28, 1929, to the late Cora Lord Jones and the late Ermon Roy Jones, Sr.

Those preceding Helen in death include her loving husband, Perry L. Butler, Sr.; brothers, John Paul Jones, Ermon “Sammy” Jones, Jr.; sisters, Alice Collins, Carolyn Malcom; her parents.

Helen leaves behind her son, Perry Butler, Jr.; grandson, Joshua Butler (Emily Hunt); brother-in-law, Robert Collins; several beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home, at 1:00pm, on Saturday, February 7, 2026, with Rev. Christy Greenwald officiating. Inurnment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery.
