OBITUARY

Virginia "Jenny" Moon, 78 years of age from Monroe, passed away on January 31, 2026.  Jenny was born in Troup County, Georgia on January 7, 1948 to the late Glenn Hudgins and the late Helen Hood Hudgins.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Coris Moon; brother, Elton Hudgins.  

Surviving members of the family are daughters Samantha Langley (James) Saconda Hadaway (James); grandchildren, Matt Hadaway (Lynn), Jonathan Hadaway (Mary), Jimmylee Langley (Jessica), Justin Langley (Cara); great grandchildren, Livy, Laiken, Weston, Wyatt, Jamie, Kenzie, Ansley, Caleb, Layne.  

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Hardy officiating.  Interment will follow at Hill Haven Memory Gardens and Mausoleum.  Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
