OBITUARY

Geneva Hood Pittman, age 88 of Monroe, passed away on February 18, 2026.  She was born on December 03, 1937 to the late George W. Hood and the late Pearlie Murrell Hood.  She was preceded in death by her husband, the late W.A. Pittman, and her son in law, the late Junior Burnette; sisters, the late Betty Lovern, the late Pallie Griffith, the late Jean Geratoni, and her brother, the late Jimmy F. Hood  

Surviving are, daughters and son in law, Tammy Burnette, Charna and Andy Parker; sister, Joanne Stephenson; 4 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Sunday February 22nd at Bold Springs Baptist Church from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.  followed by a Celebration of Life at the church at 3:00 PM with the Rev. Allen Whitley officiating.  Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
