OBITUARY

Dolan Mack Bell, age 84 of Good Hope, passed away on May 21, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Dolan was born in Colquitt County, Georgia on February 14, 1942 to the late Charlie Andrew Bell and the late Ethel Croft Bell.  Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his sisters, Virginia Tucker, Thelma Williams, Shirley Snow, Lona Dozier; brothers, Raymond Bell, Charles Bell, Alvin Bell, Darrell Bell; son-in-law, Rupert Sexton.   

Surviving members of Dolan’s family are his loving wife of 63 years, Lillie Whitlock Bell; daughter, Dana Sexton; son and daughter-in-law, David and Chris Bell; grandchildren, Daniel Bell, Lauren Marie Whittaker, Kayla Michelle Whittaker; great granddaughter, Lillie Jean Marie Murphy; many nieces and nephews; beloved four-legged friend, Dixie.   

 A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th at Meadows Funeral Home in Monroe, Georgia from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 26th at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Carter and the Rev. Dollas Messer officiating. Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery in Loganville, Georgia.
