OBITUARY

Bobby Gauntt, age 82 of Jersey, passed away on May 16, 2026. He was born on January 4, 1944 to the late William Gauntt and the late Louise Thompson Gaunt and the late Alice Hamby Gauntt. He was preceded in death by his daughters, the late Bridgett Gauntt and the late Jennifer Gauntt Chapell

Surviving are wife, LaDonna Basham Gauntt; son, Jason Gauntt and Joshua Gauntt; sister, Hellen Zuazo; brothers, William Gauntt and Hugh Gauntt; grandchildren, Kristin Sanders, Brittany Mika, Atalie Gauntt, Cohen Gauntt, Sawyer Gauntt, and Lincoln Gauntt; and 6 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday May 29th at 10:00 AM at the Jersey Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Lee Peters and the Rev. Lynn Head officiating. Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
