OBITUARY

Barbara Dianne Cooper Morrell, age 72 of Monroe, passed away on August 3, 2026. She was born on October 20, 1953 to the late Delmas Cooper and the late Dozette Whitehead Cooper. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Crowe and the late Victor Cooper.

Surviving are husband, James Morrell; sons, Jamie Morrell, Timothy Morrell, and Anthony Morrell; sisters, Jean Cordell and Lanelle Lackey; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday August 6th at 1:00 PM at Hill Haven Memory Gardens with the Rev. Jeff Daws officiating. Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
