OBITUARY

Patty Jo Andrew Holland

June 15, 1939 – August 8, 2026 

Patty Jo Andrew Holland, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 87.

Born on June 15, 1939, in New Zion, Kentucky, Patty was the daughter of the late Carlos Andrew and Jessie Simpson Andrew. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Betty Andrew Turpin.

Patty lived a life centered around her faith, family and friends. After retiring from the trucking industry, she devoted herself to being a homemaker. She was an active member of St. Stephen's Anglican Catholic Church, where she served on the Altar Guild for many years.

Patty is survived by her loving husband, Walter Holland; her children, Connie Snell (Jackie), Jennifer Grow (Bobby), and Michael Holland (Lindsay); her grandchildren, Tiffany Presten (Ben), Tara Daniel (Dustin), and Preston Underwood (Ashley), Emily Holland and Dixon Holland; and her great-grandchildren, Sam, Daniel, Ellie, Esther, Emma, Wyatt, Hudson, Presley, Amelia, and McKinley; and her nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at St. Stephen's Anglican Catholic Church in Athens, Georgia, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. A Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m., with Bishop Mark Haverland officiating. Burial will take place at the church, followed by a reception in Lewis Hall, located next to the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Patty's name to St. Stephen's Anglican Catholic Church, 800 Timothy Road, Athens, GA 30606. Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
