OBITUARY

Jacob Nolan Edge (known to all as Nolan or Noly Poly), 24 of Monroe, Georgia entered the arms of Jesus, far too soon, on September 27, 2026.

Born on December 5, 2001, to Ron and Renee Edge, Nolan grew up alongside his proud older brother, Corbin. From the moment he was born, Nolan was a light to all and brought an abundance of joy into every room he entered, with his contagious smile and loving and giving nature. Nolan was extremely intelligent from a young age as well as responsible and driven, often keeping those around him in line, while also being the life of the party and a stranger to none. He graduated from Walnut Grove Highschool with honors in 2020 and went on to earn his bachelors in Chemistry with honors at the University of Georgia in 2025. At the time of his passing, Nolan served as a pharmacy technician at Kroger, with plans to become a chemist, with prospects of starting a chemistry lab, to produce pharmaceuticals, where he would get to utilize his love of chemistry and of helping others into a fulfilling career.

Known for his beautiful, long, curly hair, and big, bright, brown eyes that were full of life, Nolan was extremely creative and had a deep passion for music- both listening to 80s and 90s rock but also making music, in particular, he was extremely talented with playing guitar. Nolan was a talented artist and loved tosketch and draw. He approached life with a kind, generous, and loving heart- never meeting a stranger and having an abundantly giving heart. His loving personality, responsibility, intelligence, kindness, and creativity brought him a plethora of friends that cherished him deeply and were considered family.
