OBITUARY

Catherine “Kitty” Bowden, age 72 of Monroe, passed away on October 21, 2026. She was born on July 21, 1954 in Virginia to the late Virginia Watson and the late Lowell Worth. She was preceded in death by her husbands, the late Ernest Broome and the late Al Yarbrough.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Adam Keesee; grandchildren, Breanna Keesee and Joseph Keesee; brother, Tommy Bowden (Janet); sisters, Cindy Bowden, Debbie Shaw (Micky), Tracey Wheeler (Randall), and Vicki Worth.

A visitation will be held on Saturday October 22nd at Meadows Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Fountain officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Haven Memory Gardens. Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
