OBITUARY

Robby was a husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family deeply. His eyes lit up whenever he spoke of his children, grandchildren, and their accomplishments. Known for his warm sense of humor and his love of laughter, jokes, and pranks, he brought joy to everyone around him. He also enjoyed playing the piano and was an avid fan of his local sports teams.

Robby spent many years working in the trucking and transportation industry before later working for Atlantic Southeast Airlines.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Raeanne Lowry; his five children, Rob Lowry Jr. and his wife, Sarah, of Gainesville; Stephen Lowry and his wife, Katrina, of Senoia; Victoria Smith (Lowry) and her husband, Daniel, of Griffin; Laura Howard (Lowry) and her husband, Corey, of Senoia; and William Lowry, of Douglasville; and his sister, Durinda Lowry, of Forsyth. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild on the way.

Robby was preceded in death by his parents, William Hollis Lowry, Dorothy Lowry; brothers, William Hollis Lowry Jr., Terry Lee Lowry; mother-in-law, Betty Belcher; sister-in-law, Amy Belcher.

Robby will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. His love for his family, his humor, and the many memories he created will live on for generations to come.

There will be a graveside service held at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery on Monday, October 26, 2026 at 1:00 pm.
