Dear Bunny, I can't begin to tell you how sad it makes me to hear of Dennys passing. I wish I could express how much his friendship and help meant to me when we worked together. However, words are simply inadequate. His influence literally changed my life. He was a very special person. I always looked forward to spending time with him as did so many others. My heartfelt prayers for you and family.

Too many wonderful memories to list but most notable, fishing trips and being told to "hang it over the edge" if a bathroom was needed and calling home after work to get all of our candy orders. We loved playing in his fishing boat while stored in the garage and rifling through his baseball cards. He was a caring father and was greatly loved by many. He will be missed.

Prayers to the Lemaster family. As a wide eyed 15 year old I had the pleasure of watching Denny hookup with Sandy Koufax in Atlanta Stadium. Both games were classics! Thanks for the memories and RIP!

Denny Lemaster was one of the first professional baseball players from Oxnard High I learned about years later when I was a young Oxnard High pitcher. I was inspired by him and his achievements as a professional pitcher. I know the mention of his name brought pride to many in Oxnard who knew of his professional accomplishments. He and the Braves were fun to watch on TV. I wish to add my heartfelt condolences to his family and close friends. His name is engraved in history and in many hearts and minds.

Denny was our beloved friend. We would meet him and Bunny at Michelle’s Pizza in McCormick SC to discuss events of the world with much enthusiasm and laughter. Dave met Denny in his SC art studio and loved watching him carve his latest wildlife treasure into beautiful woods. The two hit it off and Dave, once an aspiring carver , learned much from this very talented man. We treasure our times with Denny and the impact he had in our lives. We love you Bunny, and our condolences go to the family.

i was born and raised in the town of Oxnard Ca. were Denny went to high school ,were i played baseball for Sunset little league in the 70's. Denny was a icon and was talked about by many because he made history and was also an idol of my big brother Buddy., My brother on a plumbing job found s baseball in a closet while on a plumbing job in Oxnard that was singed by Denny and Hank Arron. This made my brother so excited and he located Denny and mailed the ball to him. This is something my brother will remember for the rest of his life. Denny himself impressed many people and will always be remembered, my deepest condolences to the famillyand may Denny rest in peace.

Denny was my favorite baseball player growing up in Connecticut in the mid-1960's. As a baseball enthusiast, I remember following the boxscores when Denny pitched. I remember listening to an Astros and Pirates where Denny pitched against Bob Veale and pitched an outstanding game but lost 1-0.
As a 69 year old grandfather, I still have my LeMaster Astros uniform with #23.
RIP Denny and my thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family.
