We have many memories with Doug and Carole. Our neighbors who became our friends. We’ve laughed together and cried together. Doug was a giant of a man with a big heart. All of the kids loved him and our youngest son was especially fond of “Mr. Doug.” We will remember Doug as a man who loved his family, loved his friends, always had a joke, and was the honorary mayor of our subdivision. He will be greatly missed and he will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Our sweet papa Doug. That's what we had the privilege to call him. Pappa doug was a character man..several evenings he had us cracking up laughing till our stomachs hurt. Other evenings it was stories from back in the day giving you old school knowledge you only get from convos like that. The many conversations, the many times spent together, all of it replaceable and now a memory we will hold so very close to our hearts. Thank you for allowing us to be apart of y'alls world and family, we wouldnt change it for anything ❤️

Oh the endless fun we all had over the years as friends. I got to
know, and love your family, with that big teddy bear at the height of laughter and fun. We will miss him, but so glad that he is with his Lord.

Oh Carole…our hearts go out to you and your family during this sad and difficult time. We remember Doug as our jovial fun loving friend full of laughter, love of the outdoors and motorcycles, but mostly his family and friends. I can still hear his laughter and know that it will stay with us until we meet with him again. I love you so much and think of you often. I know it’s too soon now, but maybe we can find a way to get together and share some time when you’re ready. Please know that I’m thinking of you every minute of every day. Love Donna (and Dean Pellegata)
